It all began a few years ago when a lady from the Church Spring Fete committee asked if I could sew and if I would be willing to make something for the upcoming Fete. I had little children and not much spare time so it had to be something small. As my youngest daughter had received an 18 inch Journey Girl Doll for her birthday I began sewing clothes for that doll size and found I really enjoyed it. I continued sewing doll clothes for her even after the Fete.

My next project was to sew clothes for my nieces' American Girl Dolls. I found great fitting doll clothes patterns online and made trendy clothes for their dolls. I loved the joy this gift gave them and was then able to help some of my friends experience that same joy when I made custom orders for their girls' dolls. I started my store as a response to the suggestion to make modest clothing for beautiful dolls by these lovely mothers. They wanted my creations to be accessible to other mothers and daughters. They loved the quality and craftsmanship of my handmade doll clothing. I like to use new and up-cycled fabrics for my designs and draw inspiration from my daughter and her friends.

I love being able to design and sew for 18 inch doll like American Girl and Journey Girl Dolls for all the wonderful doll enthusiasts I have met, or have yet to meet, on this great adventure.
